The RevoDrive 350 doesn’t quite manage to reach the claimed sequential read performance of 1800MB/s, though those figures are often based on Atto results which we will look at shorty. Still, with a throughput of 1452MB/s the RevoDrive 350 is blisteringly fast – 107% quicker than the RevoDrive 3 X2, in fact, and 181% faster than the SanDisk Extreme II.
The write performance also fell short of the claimed 1700MB/s at 902MB/s, 63% faster than the RevoDrive 3 X2 and 86% faster than the SanDisk Extreme II.
The random 512K read performance was still strong hitting 898MB/s, making the RevoDrive 350 almost 50% faster than the RevoDrive 3 X2 and 88% faster than the Samsung SSD 840 Pro.
The random 512K write results were also impressive as the RevoDrive 350 reached 772.2MB/s, 43% faster than the RevoDrive 3 X2 and 59% faster than the Samsung SSD 840 Pro.
The RevoDrive 350’s random 4K-QD32 read results were less than desirable with 13% less performance than the RevoDrive 3 X2. Oddly, it was also 24% slower than the RevoDrive X2, while it trailed the Vector 150 by a 7% margin.
As weak as the random read 4K-QD32 results were, the RevoDrive 350 smashed CrystalDiskMark’s write test at 903.4MB/s, 74% faster than the RevoDrive 3 X2.
