When copying data on disk the Samsung T3 can duplicate large files at 168MB/s or almost 80% faster than some of the snappiest thumb drives we have seen. This was roughly the same performance seen from the T1.
The T3 1TB model was just 9MB/s slower than the T1 500GB in our game copy test so it is fair to say performance is much the same here.
Just 5MB/s slower than the T1, the T3 continued to perform well in our copy tests, being 120% faster than the fastest thumb drives we have tested with our program data.
