The Crucial MX100 series provided average to weak performance when measuring 1K, 2K, 8K and 32K data compared to high-end SSDs such as the Samsung SSD 840 Pro and SanDisk Extreme II. That said, the 128K results were strong, but there certainly isn’t any evidence here as to why the application performance was so good.
When measuring write performance the MX100 512GB model did exceptionally well and was by far the fastest SSD when measuring 8K data, though 256GB model also showed well here so perhaps this was part of the key to that superior application performance.
